Lord Sugar congratulated Lara and Reece on their promotions to 'switch off' monitors and informed them they needed to audit the classrooms in the school, looking how much energy is being wasted. He then set the rest of the class the task of designing and advertising a new type of transport that was better for the environment, and reduced noise pollution.
We looked at the features of persuasive adverts and came up with this list to included in our posters:
- A catchy slogan
- Rhetorical questions
- Powerful adjectives
- Wow words - adjectives
- Customer or celebrity comment
- Superlatives (exaggerated claims)
- Exclamation marks!
- Bold writing
- Colourful

Gillian's slogan is: "Help is in hand and noise is banned!"
Max's advert included a rhetorical question: Are you tired of waiting for buses? Then wait no longer!"
Lewis used superlatives: "It will be the quietest and smoothest ride ever."
